Light on Paper
This work is a direct continuation from my studies at Poppit Sands.
From the very start I have wanted to understand and get to the core of what makes an image overwhelm me. The years studying the beach at Poppit have provided the solid groundwork of thought that has allowed me to be set free and move forward in any direction that takes my fancy.
The creation of compositions with just paper and the direction of light is to me like a removal of a heavy reliance on equipment and technique. A whole new arena has been opened to me - a new beach of discovery is available.
